Marcus Williams will be one of the better prospects in New Mexico next season. The 5'10 running back is blessed with good speed and has great abilities to make people miss in the open field.

Marcus Williams is one of the better playmakers returning next season.  In fact most would agree he is probably the top running back in the state next year.  New Mexico State likes his abilities and has already offered him.  See what he had to say.

NMInsiders.com:  Who is the best player you have ever played against?

Marcus: Man that’s tough.  Probably Landry Jones from Artesia, he’s real good and his team

NMInsiders.com:  Would you rather play football or basketball in college?

Marcus: Honestly I really don’t know, I really like both sports a lot so I’m not real sure.

Marcus: Ivan Jackson S, Ryan Murphy QB and Chris Mitchell WR

NMInsiders.com:  What can we expect from your team next year?
