Introducing Josh Baggett

Introducing Josh Baggett

Q & A with junior to be Rio Rancho offensive tackle introduces you to Josh Baggett. As a sophomore, Baggett started every game at right tackle for Rio Rancho and earned 1st team all district honors. He will be one the more highly recruited New Mexico prospects in the class of 2012. What are the biggest things you will look for when choosing a college?
Of course, getting a good education will be very important for my future. I would like to attend a school that I fit-in with coaching staff and the program and have the ability to play and make a difference in the future.

What parts of your game do you feel are your strengths? What could you use the most work on?
I feel that my understanding and love of the game and my ability to be coached are very important. My size, strength and arm length help me tremendously when blocking. I could use the most work on; my foot speed; I will be doing Parsis Speed School very hard this summer at Defined Fitness. This will help my speed and balance and allow me to improve my game better.

Do you have a top list of schools?
Oregon, Texas Tech, Tennessee, Arizona

What schools have been in contact with you?
Oregon, Texas Tech. Arizona, Colorado, Clemson, Tennessee, UCLA, New Mexico and Marshall.

Who is the best player you faced last year?
Salpointe, Arizona Defensive Line, they all were big, strong, and fast, a very good football team.

How would your coach describe you?
I would hope that Coach Howes would say I was a very hard-worker and was dedicated to the Rio Rancho Program. I would like to think that he considers me as a Team leader and a player that will do whatever it takes to get the job done. I love the game and will push myself to be the best I can be,
hopefully one day I will be able to represent the State of New Mexico in a Division 1 football program. Recommended Stories
